Hazy shade of winter...
News reports indicate that winter hit mid west rather hard today. The same media is predicting snow for this area as well. It's certainly cold enough for it, although it is not likely to last. If that indeed happens, it's a good idea to stay off the road. Despite the fact that every other vehicle on the road seems to be an SUV, most of the clowns in these parts are incapable of winter driving. I for one hope it snows, I'm in the mood for some scenery straight from pages of Dickens...

I've tracking and nipping at CHF and it's crosses over last few weeks. It's been rather good for me. Here is a trade in EUR-CHF. It lasted all week. With the number of trades I take across all the accounts it was a small trade, but very satisfying one.

Question now is, how much farther will it go? That's rather difficult to say, as the last leg of the sell off was rather smooth curve down, without many pull backs and other chart “features” that would provide us target. One way to look at it is take some clues from USD-CAD latest action. Why? Both charts look very similar, with the bottom almost identical. USD-CAD started to go up couple weeks sooner.

Here is USD-CHF. It looks remarkably like previous chart only 2 weeks delay. If this continues we are looking at maybe 1.1600 or so before any significant reaction.

This type of analysis is somewhat off the beaten path but at times proves effective. Time will tell.
Husar.
