I love that event. Whenever I can, I watch it. My favorite part is the mountain stages. Fantastic sceneries, wild crowds and the side show of quirky even weird art. Painted cows or, like today strings of bicycles stretched high in the air between two huge posts. Somebody always comes up with something original, makes you wonder how these people get their ideas? For somebody who is creatively challenged(me) that’s a mystery.
My vacation is starting. I’m boarding a plane to Copenhagen tomorrow, where I rent a car and drive around the Baltic Sea, across Scandinavia, Russia, Baltic states, Poland and Germany. Since I have 2-3 weeks, there’s no rush. Should be fun.
Being stubborn, I took another crack at CAD-JPY and it worked good. Couple of trade over last week. I must admit that I expected stronger move on Friday, but we don’t always get we want, especially me.

Incidentally, the first trade was also a part of our services. Our website has been updated and can be viewed here.

Early in the week I expected sell off in JPY crosses so I went short all of them. My positions were somewhat smaller then previous week, but regardless results were very good. Even the second trades had gains, except for AUD-JPY, where the second trade registered small loss. Otherwise, everything looked like that.

GBP-CHF is behaving funny, jumping up and down seemingly without any direction. Looks like going opposite direction from day to day might make some pips, at least until the market decides on direction.

Going short JPY crosses might not be a bad idea here, as the stops wouldn’t be big and are well defined. I’ll leave it to other people to fight over those pips as I’ll be on vacation and stay away from trading. In case there is somebody who actually reads these posts, I won’t write anything for at least 2 weeks, but upon return I’ll resume my literary activity.
Good trading!
